Chinese Angelica Root (当归) or Dang Gui, is an important TCM herb for women as it helps to regulate menstruation and ease pains. The Chinese Angelica Root soothes intestines, nourish and tonify blood. Commonly used for confinement after childbirth as ingredient for soup.
Not suitable for women with heavy menstrual bleeding, yin deficiency with internal heat and bleeding tendency. Women during pregnancy should exercise caution and consult your TCM physician for advice before consumption.
